CBT/REBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most researched and effective forms of psychotherapy. It works on the principle that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are deeply interconnected — and that by identifying and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, we can change how we feel and act. In our sessions, we'll work together to spot automatic negative thoughts, question their accuracy, and replace them with more balanced perspectives. This approach is especially effective for anxiety, depression, OCD, phobias, and stress-related difficulties.

How CBT Works in Practice

Sessions are structured and goal-oriented, typically running 8–16 weeks. You'll be given practical tools and exercises to use between sessions, helping you build skills that last well beyond therapy. I also integrate Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) principles to help challenge deeply held irrational beliefs that can keep us stuck. CBT is not about forcing positive thinking — it's about developing a more accurate and flexible relationship with your own mind.
